Experience Summary
A recent graduate in biomedical engineering from the University of Miami, I have worked as a tutor for high school and college students for the past three years. I have experience teaching math through calculus II, chemistry, physics, English, and Spanish, and I have also helped many students prepare for the SAT and MCAT exams.
Teaching Style
I truly enjoy working with my students and helping them achieve their academic goals. I find that though some of my students quickly become discouraged and fall behind in a classroom environment, with regular one-on-one help focusing on their specific difficulties they become much more confident in their skills and begin to learn more independently in their classes. I am very patient with my students and am willing to spend the time it takes for them to gain a firm grasp of the material they are learning. My goal is to improve my students' academic performance and increase their confidence in their own abilities.
