Experience Summary
As a child I came to America speaking only Spanish. Thanks to the patience, care, and knowledge of great teachers and tutors I was able to become fluent in English by the time I was in 2nd grade. I would like to share my knowledge with other minority kids who have the dream of graduating from high school and continuing their education as I have been fortunate to do. I have volunteered, and was then offered a day care position at FLOC child care in Boulder, and I also volunteered at Boulder High School during my college career. Looking to obtain a masters degree in Education, I am currently taking classes at Front Range Community College. I simply love working with kids and helping others!
Teaching Style
I am a very friendly and enthusiastic person. Nothing can bring me more joy than being around kids and impacting their lives in a positivie way. I know, from personal experience, that early childhood teachers have a huge impact in our future careers. I also believe that a great student is the reflection of their parents involvement. I just want to help other students as other great tutors and teachers once helped me.
