Experience Summary
I have a gentle yet focused approach to learning. During my academic years I excelled in learning. As an undergraduate I conducted a thesis with four undergraduate assistants. I graduated with honors earning my BA in Psychology. As a drug prevention counselor I had the opportunity to work with children of different ages. I feel I could be of benefit to any child in need of assistance. I am looking forward to establishing strong roots in this community.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very personal. I try to teach from experience. I relate to children and listen to their concerns while encouraging their individual growth. It is very important to listen and then make them aware of their choices and their responsibility for their choices. It is also important to set an example through my own actions. I enjoy learning and feel that my enthusiam can be contagious. I get along very well with children.
