Experience Summary
I began my teaching career in 1996 as a corporate trainer teaching a proprietary scripting language for corporate clients. I served in this position for more than three years. I have earned two degrees: a B.A. in Public Relations-Journalism and a M.S. in Computer Science. A few years after earning my Master's degree, I began teaching online Algebra courses for a university. I have been an effective facilitator and tutor of my students for more than three years. In addition, I was a tutor for the Athletic Department at a major university while I was a student there. I have tutored students in English, Journalism and Mathematics.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and helping people learn. I believe that helping people discover how they learn is a monumental milestone and is one that is essential to any student's success regardless of age. I am a passionate teacher who possesses a sincere desire and goal for all of my students to learn. I have worked with students of all ages, and I am patient, creative, considerate and respectful. I have remained in the teaching arena because I have found it to be a very rewarding career. I truly enjoy helping students reach levels of success they never thought possible.
