Experience Summary
My experience’s range from venture capital proposals, running a factory, to volunteering at my son’s preschool. My undergraduate education was started and completed at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. My first professional position was with Coca-Cola in Atlanta. I elected to take transfers to Dallas and then to Minneapolis. While in Minnesota I started and completed the part time (evening) MBA program at St. Thomas University. I attended classes while working evenings for Coca-Cola, just to make it more challenging. Since leaving Coca- Cola I have been doing marketing and business development for finance, real estate, and venture capital companies. Lately I have been doing volunteer work at my children’s school and have also graded written end of year standardized exams for multiple states.
Teaching Style
I like to make learning interesting and challenging. This is done to stimulate interest and involvement of the student. I always so practical applications for everything I teach. From Manners to Math there are ways to touch a mind in a meaningful way. This has its danger as the class observes more unique situations than I do and I get to make sense of the situation, for myself and the students, with only a sliver of information. But that is what makes life fun.
