Experience Summary
As a Florida International University student, I have learned how some students struggle to learn the materials and wait too late to salvage their classes. I've tutored for 2 years in the computer science department helping students not only write code but understand why the code is written in such a way.
Teaching Style
I tend to think of myself as an abstract teacher since I don't just like teaching someone how to program in C or Java. Programming is an abstract concept where learning why you are doing something in this way is almost as important as doing the coding in your specific language.
