Experience Summary
I have always been interested in helping students like me who struggle in the math and science courses. As such, I have started tutoring during my high school days and armed with several years of experience, I intend to help more and more students as I go onwards to getting my Master's degree in Microbiology. I am currently majoring in Microbiology with minor concentrations in Chemistry and Japanese.
Teaching Style
I have performed tutorial sessions on arithmetic subjects like algebra, geometry, and calculus. Also, I am familiar with the physical and life sciences like general biology, microbiology, genetics, general chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry. I make tutoring fun and "doable" even for the hardest of classes, according to my students. I have tutored several students who have struggled through anxiety regarding the harder subjects of the math and sciences but successfully received the grade they set as goals in the end. I firmly believe that a good tutorial happens when the student is able to perform efficiently on his own without any further guidance.
