Experience Summary
My nine years of teaching and two years of volunteer teaching experience have finely honed my ability to relate to students and help them to understand concepts in a wide variety of subjects. While earning my Master's in Education and certification in both Biology and Religion I sharpened both a wide range of knowledge in a wide variety of science and math topics, as well completing major research projects. I have significant knowledge in the topics of science, math, psychology, music theory, and writing skills (both creative and scientific).
Teaching Style
I truly enjoy helping children learn. Years of experience teaching helps me find the area they need help in quickly, and my analytical thinking helps me apply the best practice to work on it. I easily develop a good rapport with my students, yet I have clear and high expectations that helps them to excel. I am firm but kind, and believe that a good relationship with the student is crucial to enjoying learning.
