Experience Summary
I have been a High School Spanish Teacher for three years under the state of North Carolina. Before that, I was lead school teacher at a daycare where I specialized in Spanish. I have studied abroad to Spain, Portugal, and Africa. Also, I have done tutoring on the side to High School students. I wish to teach Spanish in the target language.
Teaching Style
I find that every student can learn. Although challenging, every human being has the power to learn another language. I would describe my teaching style as fun yet effective. I like to immerse my students in the target language to ensure proper learning. I will practice verb drills, sing songs, and perform skits to ensure that the material is properly learned. I will do what it takes, in many different ways to ensure that a student remembers, "gets it", and can speak in the target language.
