Experience Summary
I have a degree from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Chemistry and would like to help individuals in math and chemistry to further their education. SDSM&T has a very tough curriculum in math, physics, and chemistry. With my real world experience and education from the mines I have a very good understanding of how to apply real world situations to everyday problems. I am very creative and can communicate on the learning level of the individual. I understannd that many kids and even adults learn at different levels and sometimes it takes a different style for each of them to learn.
Teaching Style
I am a successful small business owner in Rapid City and have hired and trained several staff members. During this time, I have worked with many of the areas local teachers. I know children learn on different levels and in diffent ways. It only takes one person to help a child to reach their maximum potential. I like to utilize the discovery method with a little encouraegment. I sure remember the teacher who helped me out, Don't you?
