Experience Summary
Before earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education I had filled two English tutoring positions. Teaching one-on-one and small groups is a rewarding experience for me. Working with elementary students energizes me, and it is my ambition to see learners achieve above their expectations. I have had more than 10 years of experience working with children and have been told I have a natural gift in teaching them.
Teaching Style
My teaching style includes connections and manipulatives. I have been trained in different learning styles and how to adapt to each type of learner. It is my experience that children learn well when they are in a risk free environment and they feel love and concern for their well being. I truly enjoy helping children aspire and reach levels they never thought possible. I am committed to do whatever it takes to help students achieve and feel good about their accomplishments.
