Experience Summary
I am a recent Mechanical Engineering major, Mathematics minor, graduate of Baylor University. My passion for Mathematics is what led me to become a Mechanical Engineer. While in high school I tutored students all throughout my 4yrs. I was also inducted into the Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society which is a math honor society. While in college I volunteered at the local elementary, middle, and high schools where I served as a Math tutor. I also worked for Baylor Student Athlete-Services where I served as a Front Desk Study Hall Monitor and a tutor for Baylor Student-Athletes.
Teaching Style
I love working with and teaching children of all ages. I am able to adapt to any child's personality and attention span. I try to show students the importance of math and make it fun and enjoyable to learn. I am a very visual learner, so when possible I try and teach my students using visual props. I believe that all students are capable of fully understanding mathematics it just takes a lot of practice.
