Experience Summary
As an Arizona State University graduate 2001, I graduate with a strong passion to help make a difference in the lives of today's youth through academic excellence. I have been a special education teacher for 6 years and have worked with all grade levels and learning styles. My teaching career began in the Mesa Public Unified school district where I gained experience in an inclusion and in a private day school setting. Then I continued teaching at a private day school within the Florence Unified school district.
Teaching Style
A teacher's ability to see where a student is and get them to where they need to be is the key to success. There are many ways to teach but the importance is to find what special ingredient will help the student excel. As an educator I promote technology, high level thinking, creating and discovery implementing these concepts to check for mastery in the academic areas. Academics is the door that leads into every opportunity our youth have to live a happy, productive and fulfilling life.
