Experience Summary
I have taught AP Physics, AP Biology, Chemistry, and Ecology for 10 years, taught MG Science, 5th grade, Kindergarten and Pre-K. I am GA State certified and on the state Literacy/Comprehension Board, and Special Ed endorsed. I have tutored all levels of students to include gifted, ELL, ESOL, and special challenged students. Subjects taught include from Pre-K math, reading comprehension, phonics, to elementary ed all subjects, to Middle school and High School science and math subjects. I have achieved 100% graduation rate from seniors taught, and increased CRCT results by 40 points for students in all subjects.
Teaching Style
Students have a gift for learning, but difficulty in applications. I have a very special way of working with children to understand underlying problems with their personal difficulties in learning, strategically show students new applications and memory skills to use to increase comprehension, thus the student understands and is motivated to learn. I make learning fun, hands-on, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Students see progress and are intensely energetic to learn more.
