Experience Summary
As a graduate with a BS in Agricultural and Technology Education, I hold teaching certification in Biology and Agriscience (which includes Animal Science, Biotech, Food Science, Natural Resources/Environmental Science, and Plant & Horticultural Science).
I also took up to the 300-level courses in Japanese as well as studied in Japan.
I have taught for two years now, teaching topics such as Animal Science, Natural Resources/Environmental Science, and Plant/Horticultural Science. At the post-secondary level I have taught and am currently teaching Japanese at Delaware Technical and Community College Stanton Campus. I have provided Japanese tutoring services for young children, adolescents, and adults of various backgrounds and ages.
Teaching Style
I am a very student-based, question driven instructor. Learning can be fun and when it is we learn the most. I am a very hands-on instruction with specific focus on the learning style that suites the student best. I have been told I am the most caring, understanding, and patient teacher by many of my students. I have always built great rapport with a foundation in respect, both for the teacher and the student.
