Experience Summary
I taught French as an Assistant Professor in the Language Department at Keene State College. I continue to give French tutoring classes (one-on-one and small group) to both beginner, intermediate and advanced level students (kids and adults).
Furthermore, French is my native tongue, as is English.
I am therefore very comfortable switching from FR to EN and EN to FR. This capacity has allowed me to teach FR in a way that is both natural and familiar to my audience.
Teaching Style
As a native French/English speaker, I have been able to develop a user friendly and effective method to teaching French to students. I love teaching but what I like the most is seeing results. My dual upbringing allows me to rely on metaphors, examples, etc. that are culturally significant and thus helpful to my students.
More importantly, I make sure that teaching is both fun and rewarding to my students.
