Experience Summary
As a graduate with Honors I have recently dedicated my life and career to helping students achieve their highest level of success in academics. I have attained a BS and a MS in Criminal Justice which has enabled me to have the ability to help students headed down the wrong road to get back on track, behaviorally and academically. I have taught and tutored students with learning disabilities and poor academic performances, and as a result have helped them achieve academic improvements and jump significant levels on the FCAT. I believe that my experience and patience enables students to achieve on academic levels they never thought possible.
Teaching Style
I have a diverse teaching style. My main goal in teaching is to improve a student's knowledge and success to a level that they believe is impossible. I have worked with the lowest groups of students in my school to the highest level of students in my school. My patience and ability to decipher text and numbers allows my students to understand questions and solve problems on their level of thinking. I enjoy doing interventions to help students understand a concept and solve problems. Cooperative learning is a highly favored skill of mine for the simple fact that it enables students to learn and improve social skills at the same time.
