Experience Summary
I graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University with a BS degree in mathematics and teaching certification in PA. I taught secondary math in the Allentown School District for 7 years, served as department chairman at Kildonan School in NY for 12 years, taught math at Blue Ridge School in VA for 5 years, taught math at Poly Prep in NY for one year, taught math at CFS, the School at Church Farm for 7 years, taught math at CCTI for 2 years, subbed in the Northampton District a year and spent this past year in Baltimore MD teaching at the Friends School. I have a wealth of experience in all math courses.
Teaching Style
I teach and tutor with enthusiasm and passion, and my love of the subject eminates throughout my instruction. Whatever the student's past experiences in math, I will make the course fun and easy to learn. I have accumulated literally thousands of different ways to teach each topic in every course, which means that I will discover the way each student learns best, and enable him or her to achieve success in the course beyond their expectations. I am patient, flexible, resourceful, and a pleasure to work with. You'll see.
