Experience Summary
I love to tutor because it gives me an opportunity to help students build their skills and to teach them that they have the ability to learn anything,they want to learn and are willing to put their mind, determination and dedication into. I strongly believe that most if not all students are capable of learning anything they truely desire to learn, if they are willing to work hard and be determined to acquire the knowledge. I believe that this is possible with a teacher or tutor that has the skills and dedication to transfer their knowledge or drive for knowledge to their students.
Teaching Style
My Teaching Style is to build a relationship with the student and their family. That is based on trust, confidence and a great deal of praise. Everyones performance is driven by the encouragement that they get on a daily basis. So a very important part of my teaching style is to include the whole family. As well as to encourage them to praise my student daily.
Also they must provide activities that challenge their mind and build there confidence. This allows everyone to be a part of their success. For example: If they are working on reading skills. They must allow the child to read to them nightly.
