Experience Summary
As a college graduate I have worked in the field of education for about four years. I am truly intrinsic about working with kids and discovering the true talent and gifts they have to offer. I graduated undergrad with a degree in special education and continued to pursue a masters in Instruction and Curriculum with a focus in reading. I have learned extensives ways to work with kids that may have different challenges. I am currently the reading and dyslexic liason for Cy-Fair ISD. I enjoy working with reading because it is the fundmental building block of education.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very unique. I am fairly young and I like to invovle the students in the lesson instead of just lecturing the whole time. I believe in todays society children like to use thier visual, auditory, and tactile skills to grasp the concept of a lesson. This is a new age and with that requires research and learning on the teachers part so they can present the lesson in the best manner so the student will graps the concept. A good eduacator should never just be content with a average lesson, however they should seek ways to be more innovative.
