Experience Summary
In my 12 years of teaching experience I provided instruction at different levels from secondary class to college students. I taught English Literature and Language at undergraduate level as well. Teaching Chinese and Saudi students gave me extensive multi-cultural experience. During the last ten years I have tutored students in English literature, writing, history, and the arts.
Teaching Style
I believe that every child is different from the other in learning style and capacity. As a teacher I think it is really important to give suitable and desired space to student to flourish, and students must be provided with appropriate surrounding to learn and discover their hidden potential. I firmly believe in eclectic approach to teaching as one method cannot suit all teaching situations. As an English teacher, I understand the importance of teaching strategies like lead time, group work, peer review, assessment, revision session, and writers’ workshop.
