Experience Summary
As a well educated professional who has completed both his bachelor's and juris doctorate degrees, I have developed the skills to help students excel in a variety of subjects. To this effect, I have tutored students from a variety of educational levels, including high school and at the undergraduate level.
My best developed tutoring skill, however, is my proficiency for writing that I have developed from completing numerous papers and projects that were necessary to complete my bachelor’s degree and to meet the meticulous drafting standards of legal documents and decisions. Thus, I can proficiently construct arguments, draft papers to meet grammatical standards, and recommend research strategies to properly construct a paper.
Teaching Style
My philosophy is primarily founded on the simple knowledge that learning is imperative; thus, I recognize the importance of ensuring that each student is taught the subject material and rigorously instructed how to learn the material. To meet this goal, I meet with a client to evaluate his/her learning skills and habits, goals, and knowledge of the particular subject matter.
However, I also emphasize that he/she must be able to comprehend the particular demands of his/her instructor, as this knowledge is necessary to "get the grade". Thus, I review the student's notes and tests to determine instructor tendencies that will to better help the student succeed by emphasizing the most important matters of the instructor.
