Experience Summary
I am a former IT Professional with proven abilities in employing quantitative analysis to forecast business growth trends. More recently, I worked as a Math tutor for students in grades 4-10. I have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, and a wide-ranging background in Math with a consistently outstanding record of academic excellence in the field. Of note regarding my numerical aptitude: I earned a score of 100% on all assignments, tests, and projects in a Graduate-level Statistics course. Finally, I am a member of Mensa, the international society for individuals who have demonstrated standardized test-based evidence of intelligence ranking in the upper 2% of the population.
Teaching Style
My teaching style/strengths include both an inherent aptitude and intrinsic zeal for effectively communicating with students and assisting in their development of individually-tailored, achievement-focused, confidence-building subject matter and test preparation skill enhancement. Equally important, I seek to continuously foster an educational approach designed to make the learning experience not only highly effective, but personally satisfying and fun as well; in short, to instill a ‘love of learning’ that lays the groundwork for the student’s development of a lifelong dedication to the quest for knowledge.
