Experience Summary
Since childhood, I have had a passion for education and teaching. From tutoring and mentoring to coaching sports, I have spread myself across all education aspects that are near and dear to me. I earned a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Spanish where much of my education was about learning how to teach and break down the science of it learning. Over the past 3 years, I taught an ESL class for adults looking to further their conversational English skills, as well as a Natural Science class and Nutrition class for children.
Teaching Style
I believe everyone has the power to learn and achieve their best, it is just a matter of breaking down the basics and finding the way that works best for each individual. I teach through examples and allow the child to think their way through the material with my lead, eventually leading to learning self-confidence and self-efficacy.
