Experience Summary
I decided to go into teaching while I was working at Birch Childhood Center as a full time teacher assistant with children with special needs ages 0-5 years old. Upon graduation with a BA from Pace University I started working as a Social Studies teacher at Walton High School where I worked for 5 years. I have received MA in Social Studies. Now I work as a substitute teacher at Bronxville Public School. I believe that my credentials as well my experience as a teacher will demonstrate that I can be an excellent candidate for this tutoring position.
Teaching Style
I have worked with students of different age groups as well as different ability levels. I am fair, knowledgeable and determined to make sure that the child can achieve his/her full potential. I believe that every student can learn. It is very important for every child to find a good teacher in order to make educated and informed decisions in the future. I believe that I have helped many students in my teaching career and I would like to continue to do the same.
