Experience Summary
I am a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in TESOL. While a senior in college, I taught an intermediate ESL class for a semester and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also minored in Business/Office Administration and took specialized classes in Windows Vista and Microsoft Office programs. In addition, I have taught beginner and intermediate private piano lessons for two years. I also acquired some experience with special needs when I worked after school as a personal aide to a non-verbal teenage girl with severe autism.
Teaching Style
I have taught a variety of skills and ages, from 1st graders in piano lessons to elderly adult immigrants learning the English language. I have a desire to meet people on their level and encourage them grow. I strive for an atmosphere that is both positive and structured that is a help to both my students and their parents.
