Experience Summary
My love of mathematics and science has driven me to where I am today. I have earned a BS in chemistry and have just graduated from MSU's medical school. This has provided me with an extensive background in the basic as well as the more complex maths and sciences needed to achieve the successes I have. As an undergraduate majoring in chemistry, I was provided with many opportunities to use my abilities to help those classmates of mine who had questions or needed extra help. During the last 8 years, I have had the opportunity to tutor students in chemistry, basic mathematics, and work with elementary school afterschool program for at risk children. I have extensive experience with research papers and lab reports.
Teaching Style
Patience, willingness, compassion, and time are key characteristics that I can provide to any child that needs it. I believe in teaching a child in not only the process of solving the problem, but also making sure they understand the bigger concept and picture that is needed in order to master the material. Everyone learns in a different way, and I am available to help discover that right way for your child to learn the most that they can.
