Experience Summary
I graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma. I have ten years of laboratory and industrial experience. I am in the process of completing an Associates of Applied Science in Viticulture and Enology (grape-growing and wine-making) from Grayson County College. After graduation, I will pursue a Masters of Education and teaching certification from Sam Houston State University. My goal is to teach high school chemistry. I also have extensive coursework in Biology. I trained many scientists on-the-job and I have tutored fellow students in chemistry courses. I enjoy sharing my energy and knowledge.
Teaching Style
I am a positive and supportive teacher. I am a no-nonsense woman and mother of four boys. I encourage students to work hard and I work hard to tailor my approach to their learning style. I am a patient and understanding person with a curious mind and a love of learning. I see the best in people and I never give up on anyone.
