Experience Summary
As a Teacher and Tutor, my background is primarily in working with at-risk youth and adult learners. I have worked as an 8th grade English and Reading Teacher as well as a Tutor at San Diego City College's English Center, San Diego High School's Jump Start program, and a GRE and Occupational Readiness Tutor through South Bay Community Services.
Teaching Style
I specialize in student centered and interactive tutoring, improving academic self-esteem, and increasing student retention. I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and understand the need for an indvidualized approach to education.
