Experience Summary
My undergraduate degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan was a major in Home Economics Education and a minor in Spanish. Ten years later I completed my Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education at the same University. I have a total of ten years experience on the elementary, junior high and high school levels. My experience was mostly in private church schools teaching from single grades, all subjects, to multi-grades, all subjects. I taught Spanish for one year on the high school level and am very qualified to teach Spanish since I am fluent in the language. I also homeschooled my two children through the 5th and 6th grades.
Teaching Style
I enjoy seeing children blossom through education and helping them reach their full potential. I like to help children persevere until they have a thorough understanding of the concepts they are struggling with. Hands on learning helps the student to grasp these concepts more easily. I desire to make a difference in each of my students lives by providing them with the best education possible.
