Experience Summary
Graduated from Seton Hall University, located in South Orange, NJ with a bachelor's degree in biology. Studied science for 5 years in college with an emphasis on medical courses to eventually pursue a degree as a physician assistant. Strong background in math (algebra, calculus, statistics) and sciences (biology and chemistry). Also, open to tutor in english, economics, electives, etc.
Experience includes tutoring in math and science for West Haven High School (2000-2004) and tutor through the Biology Society at Seton Hall Univ (2005-2009).
Teaching Style
I love interacting, teaching, and talking to students. My pleasure comes from seeing the bright smile on a child's face when the confidently turn to me to let me know that they understand what I have taught them. I enjoy developing different strategies for a person to understand the material being learned based around their learning approach, whether they are visual or auditory learners. I like to find fun, simple methods to memorize material. I believe that various ways at understanding material make it quicker to master more information in the same amount of time. Extra help from me as a tutor can make a world of a difference as your child proceeds in his/her educational experience.
