Experience Summary
I am a honors graduate of Summa Cum Laude from a well known Polytechnic school here in Southern California. My drive to succeed and reach my full potential as a contributing member of society has led me to achieve two different Associates degrees and a Bachelors degree. When I transferred to the university I was on the path to become a Civil Engineer. My interest in Mathematics led me to that path and enabled me to gain a clear understanding of Math through analytical geometry. Due to the extensive process of obtaining these degrees, I have acquired many skills in other areas such as analytical and critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, the ability to work well in teams and basic general knowledge.
Teaching Style
I greatly enjoy sharing my knowledge in areas I have strength in with others who wish to gain the same knowledge. Helping others understand gives me a great pleasure. I like to use real world experience to help them understand the material. I am considerate to all levels of education. I practice active listening to understand the direct needs of the individual seeking help. I also believe in an interactive approach because everyone has different learning styles.
