Experience Summary
As a graduate of Michigan State University in the area of Civil Engineering, I have a high level of focus in the areas of Math and Science. I am currently studying to obtain Professional Engineering license in the spring. My occupation requires me to use different computer software as well as knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. I'm required to perform calculations daily on construction projects for concrete, asphalt and soils placement. During the last 2 years I have tutored algebra and chemistry.
Teaching Style
I have tutored individuals from various ages. I have patience when it comes to providing an example for completing the problems. Everyone learns differently. It’s just a matter of being flexible with the challenges that they may be faced with when it comes to mathematics. My goal is to make sure that they can learn just a little more each time I am assisting them. I also have knowledge of college courses in the areas of calculus and statics.
