Experience Summary
As a recent graduate from Florida International University's allied health program, I have the desire to tutor students in Organic Chemistry. I have earned a B.S. in Health Science and a minor in Biology. Furthermore, during my senior year in college, fellow peers requested help in Organic Chemistry and I realized after tutoring them that I was capable to help students understand this difficult but yet fun and unique subject.
Teaching Style
I enjoy tutoring students and I gain satisfaction out of seeing my students understand the material. I believe my teaching style is unique to most tutors. Through some of the struggles I had in college I was able to develop a teaching style that has proven to help students progress in Organic Chemistry. I use molecular models and examples to demonstrate the material. I divide my lecture in well explained concepts and follow each concept with an example and then challenge my students to solve problems with me in order for me to know they have understood what I have taught them.
