Experience Summary
I am a culturally well-rounded scientist and educator with extensive organic chemistry experience in the biotech-pharmaceutical and chemical industries. As a creative and results-driven self-starter I am also deeply dedicated to learning new skills and passing knowledge to others. During my graduate studies at Michigan State University I was engaging and skillful in teaching complex concepts to students, resulting in improved academic performance and letter grades. As per my resume I have taught five semesters of chemistry lecture and laboratory courses at Michigan State University.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and most importantly I love to see improved academic performance as a result of my efforts. I am assertive but patient with students, and I am willing to try various teaching techniques to allow the student to grasp the concept being taught. Once I see the student has grasped the concept I usually make him/her work through the problem(s) so he/she can walk away from the teaching session with a deep understanding.
