Experience Summary
As a biology graduate, I understand the importance of a great tutor and good study skills. I wanted to pass these along to other students. I decided to teach for a year at Youngster Academy. English as a second language teacher; Managed a classroom by using organizational skills, attention to details, and commitment. Instill model behavior to shape students to be great community leaders with a global view. Planned and executed lessons, activities and materials which challenged the students intellectually. Enforced discipline by firmly setting class room rules. Planned and created exams to evaluate each student’s progress. Kept parents well informed of their child’s progress. Carried out administrative duties to help improve academy.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with children. The key is understanding that each student is unique. I pay attention to the students learning style and base my lessons on that. I believe teaching is not about someone just learning but also helping students be leaders that will be influential in the future.
