Experience Summary
Through the past ten years in law enforcement I have lead, instructed, and supervised many people. While serving in the military I was afforded the opportunity to attend several institutions such as the University of Chaminade, Wayland Baptist University, and the University of Phoenix.
After my separation from the military I attended Central Arizona College and then transferred back to the University of Phoenix. I have experienced several different learning environments and have taken what I found to be positive and tried my best to improve on them.
Teaching Style
I have always tried to apply a hands on approach when instructing others. It has almost always worked, and when it has not worked I tried to find the learning style of the individual and adapt to his or her needs. When correcting papers or reports I have always found that discussing what needs improvement with that person helps with them understanding the issue so that they will learn from the mistake.
