Experience Summary
As a teacher, I am driven to help motivate students to reach their highest potential. I am patient and flexible and always willing to help provide examples to help students fully understand the material. I received a Bachelors from the University of Michigan and a Masters degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. While, at the University of Michigan, I was a writer for the student newspaper.
Due to my previous experience as a writer, I learned not only how to be an effective writer but also about publishing. My audience was over 20,000 students. In the past, I have tutored elementary, middle, and high school students through other tutoring agencies in both Michigan and Nevada.
Teaching Style
I am very passionate when teaching students and I strive hard to ensure that every student grasps the material. I implore real-world examples to provide students with background knowledge concerning the subject area. I am patient, flexible, a good listener, and easy to communicate with. At all time, I strive to make the learning process fun but very productive. I also am very good at motivating and challenging students to help them reach the next level.
