Experience Summary
My experience with tutoring is extremely limited; however, my knowledge of the English language is not. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society and participated with Sigma Tau Delta National English Society in college. I am very well versed with much of the literature and reading required by high school students and would love the opportunity to share what I know to help them prepare for a better future. English is what I'm passionate about and I would like to pass that passion on to other students.
Teaching Style
I believe in the "DID" philosophy: dedication, imagination, determination. Dedication on my part will help ensure successful results; the use of imagination will keep students involved and entertained in the subject; and determination is something that both sides must work-on in order to have the time spent together be as productive as possible. Teaching is a difficult task, however, with patience and understanding anything is possible.
