As a scientist with almost ten years of research experience, I can explain how science is done and why. I have writing, editing and teaching experience. My social skills and my propensity to think outside the box are valuable tools to communicate with people and explain difficult concepts in an original but clear way.I have teaching and mentoring experience as tutor for undergraduate students, supervisor of MRes and undergraduate students.
Teaching Style
I think the teaching job is made of passion, guiding students through learning process and presenting all materials they need. Chemistry is essential in my life and I believe everyone could have interest for science. I encourage learning by creating a relaxed environment for students, stimulating conversation about concepts being presented and organizing material in a way that makes it easiest to understand. I believe that respect for my students is one of the most important things. One of the most important concepts I hope to impart to students that learning is a process that never ends.
