Experience Summary
I began my teaching career in Houston Independent School District. I taught Sixth and Seventh Grade English, and Reading, and Sixth Grade Self contained. At Preparatory Academy of Houston, I taught Self-contained Fourth and Seventh Grades, and Special Education students grades Kindergarten through Twelfth Grades.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is a belief all children can learn, need to learn because they will become adults, and have something to offer. Children learn by doing. Some students learn visually, some auditorily, and some get the concept by tactile activities.
