Experience Summary
As a GED educator, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor degree, BA in Elementary Education, which enabled me to substitute for many years in the Chicago Public Schools. I gain a strong understanding in areas of reading, writing, and science. In addition, I have earned a MATL specialization in Reading. During the last five years I have taught GED and Pre-credit students in Reading and science. I have learned extensive reading skills due to completing a Master of Arts and teaching students with a 1.0 to 6.0 reading levels.
Teaching Style
I have a strong passion for teaching. I love teaching children and adults. I believe all individuals can learn, but each in different ways. I am patient, kind, and considerate. My dreams and goals are to provide the best education possible for all people. I am organized and structured, always going above and beyond. I love teaching as well as learning. Therefore, I am a firm believer that teachers should continue professional development. I am one of the educators that have made a different in my life and others. I am extremely proud of my achievements and happy that I can help others.
