Experience Summary
As a recent college graduate from Temple University, I learned the techniques and disciplines to excel in my education as well as developing the drive to instill this practice in others. I have earned a BA in Mathematics, with other substantial course work in Philosophy, Physics and Music, showing I am a well rounded individual who can adapt teaching methods to accommodate a struggling student. I have current work experience at Kumon Math and Reading Center, where I am the primary math instructor. Learning to explain the same material in different ways has really help my success as a tutor. I have also tutored privately at Temple University for the last 3 years.
Teaching Style
My success lies in the ability to explain the same material in many different ways. There is no one way for all children to learn. I have a passion for teaching that is insatiable. Seeing my students become as excited about a concept as I am, is absolutely amazing. There is no better feeling then a struggling student finally grasping a concept. I live for that feeling not just in the classroom, but throughout all parts of my day.
