Experience Summary
To be sure that I would be effective as a full time educator,I worked as a substitute teacher in Lee county for one year before taking classes to achieve my Florida teaching certificate. Since then I have taught 6th,7th,and 9th grade in the public school system. In addition, I have experience teaching adult basic education for the Florida department of corrections and was the education supervisor at a state institution,where I taught and supervised GED classes as well.
Teaching Style
I really enjoy teaching and working with all levels of students. All children and adults have the ability to learn and I welcome the opportunity to help any individual to succeed in the academic area. I am patient, mild mannered, and considerate of my student's feelings. I will be firm but fair and at all times treat the student with the respect he or she deserves.
Different teaching methods will be used in order to get the student even more interested in learning such as visual tools, hands on approach, and question and answer feedback sessions.
