Experience Summary
I am a IT Project Manager with mathematics credentials (BS Math USAF Academy, MS Operations Research Naval PostGraduate School) who enjoys extending his part-time career for the past 15 years as an adjunct professor and personal math tutor. I have adjunct experience with CSN, University of Phoenix, and ITT Technical Institute teaching a wide variety of subject including Algebra I/II, Pre-Calculus, Differential and Integral Calculus and Probability and Statistics. Most recently, I have tutored 15 students in Math ranging from age 10 through 55.
Teaching Style
My style is most effective in a one on one environment, where I can monitor lesson plan progress incrementally, one problem or one process at a time. I have a patient and easy going personality which lends itself well with students who may have to absord and learn new material. I am a retired Navy Reserve Captain who has the experience in working and motivating with people with varying personalities and skills.
