Experience Summary
I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wyoming, while working full-time and taking classes full-time. This is a testament to my commitment to hard work and excellence. I have extensive experience in the financial services industry, which has given me an indepth understanding and practical experience with using math both in business and in life skills. I also have extensive experience in writing proposals and research documents. My tutoring experience began in high school and has continued off and on throughout my career and adult life experience. I have tutored both at the elementary and college levels.
Teaching Style
I believe in developmentally appopriate teaching, and that success comes with a committed teacher/tutor who is prepared, patient, and positive. I believe that everyone can be successful in their education, with the right approach and understanding of their personal learning styles and talents. There is more than one way to learn, and more than one way to teach, and I believe being flexible and supportive is the key to unlocking a learner's potential.
