Experience Summary
With my master's degree is in psychology, I understand the struggles that kids with learning issues face. I have recently done extensive research on how preschool and elementary school children learn to read. Their foundation can effect them in middle and high school. I have been teaching digital art classes for the last four years. In college, I tutored children and teens in reading, math and standardize testing. I am now assessing and teaching preschool and elementary school children techniques to master reading.
Teaching Style
I love working with kids and teenagers. I connect easily with kids. I evaluate their learning style to see how they best assimilate and retain information. I utilize this to assist them reading, math, and other materials they are studying. Learning difficulties can easily be overcome by the right approach, which may involve a whole brain approach. I have studied how to evaluate and assist kids who are struggling in school.
