Experience Summary
My experience is broad and important. Coming from a family of educators and athletic coaches, I know how to use educational, volunteer and work experiences to the benefit of those in need of guidance and direction. With experiences in the fields of construction, engineering, water treatment, natural resource management and diplomacy I can help both overachieving and underachieving students recognize the importance of education and pushing oneself to achieve.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is defined by my father, a teacher and coach. Successful in both the classroom and on the athletic field, he made sure that each student and athlete knew what was expected of them. What was expected of them was a mixture of hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and success. Success measured not necessarily by winning, for example, but by doing the best one can do with the gifts they had been given. In the end each student and athlete would learn the fundamentals of the given subject/sport to later in life build upon for their pleasure and, if necessary, to apply in a career capacity.
