Experience Summary
I have a diversified background and many years experience in teaching children and adults. My strength lies in my versatility and ability to teach many different things, including mathematics, elementary grades 1-6, computers, ESOL, GED, swimming, and art. I am adaptable, always ready to learn, and like to help others.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with children who, for whatever reason, didn't get the necessary steps to succeed in the public school and/or may be disheartened, or lacking self-confidence or maybe even an attitude ahat they really don't want to know. There is a reason for this because every child deep down wants to learn, and I want to help them get there, whatever it takes.
I never give up! So, my approach is to find out what the child needs to learn, what are the steps to that learning proccess, and start at the beginning--reviewing what he kjnows already and proceeding to the next step and..... the learning should be FUN!
