Experience Summary
I am currently a part-time instructor for Axia College of the University of Phoenix. I have had the pleasure of being an online instructor for almost two years. I hold a Masters Degree is in Human Resource Management and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Within the past five years, I have had the pleasure of working as coordinator educating the community about the different types of Cancer and free screenings available to the community. In this position, I had the pleasure of speaking with Everest Institute students about the different types of Cancer, facilitated volunteer orientation, organized Atlanta Medical Center Community Health Fair and collaborated with the City of Atlanta placing teens in the Work program.
Teaching Style
I enjoy helping people. Being a teacher gives me the opportunity to guide and mentor to people who are willing learn. My style of teaching isn’t complicated. I strongly suggest that all students ask questions, in doing this I remind them that there are no stupid questions and if you must ask a question twice to gain an understanding of the topic please do so. I encourage students to interact and work with other students to excel in their course work. Students working together teach them the importance of working together as a team. My goal as instructor is to ensure students feel confident with their work, confident in themselves and have a full understanding of the topic in order to do well in any course
